Postcard

Out of the three postcards that we made this is my favorite one.

Anyways. I'm really proud of this thing I made.... A copy of roy lichtenstiens work, redone in photoshop. Instead of just plain colors all of them have textures.

Class.

I wasn't in class today again. I'm so pissed, because truthfully, I like my Computers class. My alarm clock has a mind of its own and didn't wake me up again. Another new thing I need to get.
And I stayed up til all hours of the night finishing my computer homework, amoung other things. And since I didn't get to show everyone in class today, here it is:
This is the second blending test thing I did. And my favorite. I don't think I'll put the others up because I like this one so much. And because I don't have much to say about them.
WELL. The computer isn't letting me upload anything else anyways. So maybe later.

Also, because I'm bored here's another post. A selfportrait for class. I like the colors in it, but my boyfriend doesn't because I look angry and it's the face I make when I'm mad at him.

Book

I was on stumbleupon.com today and found this awesome link in the arts section: www.lookatbook.com
It's this website for a sketchbook that was sent between 4 artists. Two in Brooklyn and two in Belfast. I really want a copy of it, but it's 55 dollars. Not to mention shipping and handling. But you can look at it all you want online for free. It's just you can zoom in on the images to see some of the details. And I collect books, so my natural instinct is to want to buy it.
So go look.

Work

Here's a couple things that I did in Illustrator that I didn't post. The first is of my friend Kate. It's a picture I took from her facebook. I turned her into a spy. I like how it turned out, but I really want to put an explosion or a sneaky looking guy in the background to confirm her status as a spy.
The other one is me. A self portrait done in text. The text is a poem that my friend Jake wrote. I really like it and am surprised it looks anything like me. So I'm glad it turned out how it did.
